Dr. Garcia has been involved with Path2Freedom and its founders from the beginning stages. She has a PhD in General Psychology with an emphasis in Cognition. Dr. Garcia was the President of the Southwest Florida Regional Human Trafficking Coalition. She has worked with survivors of violent crimes, sex trafficking, sexual assault, domestic violence, veterans, childhood sexual abuse, etc, since 2009. Since then, she has assisted other coalitions, government agencies, and community agencies in founding, creating, and starting programs to improve and increase awareness and identification of human trafficking among law enforcement agencies and the community. She has over 14 years of clinically recognized work at the state and national level for her success in working with inflicted trauma populations.
