FUND A NEED
GIVE THE GIFT OF FREEDOM WITH
MAGNOLIA HOUSE 2
There is a significant need for safe beds and the long-term recovery services we provide at Path2Freedom for Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC). In 2023 alone, the Department of Children and Family Services reported 396 CSEC children identified, but only 33 safe beds available across the state of Florida. Path2Freedom is a part of that 31.
The need is great and Path2Freedom’s growth strategy is to continue to fill this gap in serving child survivors of human trafficking. With a second safe home in Southwest Florida, we can instantly double our impact.
Path2Freedom has spent over 3 years of establishing, learning, and enhancing its long-term recovery services for survivors of human trafficking, since opening the Magnolia House in 2020. With this experience, we are equipped to pursue the purchase of a second property and expand our impact. The intent is to create another safe house property with long-term recovery services modeled after the success of Path2Freedom’s original Magnolia House.
Path2Freedom is seeking to raise $500,000 by the end of March, 2024 towards the purchase of property suited for a second safe house, preferably in Collier County. This funding will be used to cover initial permits, zoning fees, and a portion (down payment) of the property costs. Property search and purchase is targeted to be complete by year-end 2024.
